The season is slowly getting going. Its time to get out in the garden to plant up all those lovely edible flowers that make your wedding feasts look so special.
2024 weddings
We still have availability for weddings this season. Get in touch to discuss possibilities.
We have a wealth of experience that we will share with you to help make sure your special day run smoothly.
Lindsay and Annie of Lafafa catering are an absolute joy to deal with. From the first few emails it was clear that Lafafa would be perfect. They helped us choose a selection of dishes, and we came away from a delicious tasting session with absolute confidence that our wedding breakfast would be fantastic. Lindsay met us at the venue in advance of the reception to discuss logistics and she offered loads of helpful suggestions to make the day run smoothly and to maximise our budget. The meal that Lafafa prepared for us and our 80 guests was exceptional.

Golowan

Had a great day at Mazey and at Quay Day too. Dont do too many street events now without the trailer – but hate to miss Golowan and all our regulars.

Some of 2022 wedding venues
Our last wedding of the summer was at Avelen, near Bodmin – it’s a fabulous new venue https://avalenweddings.co.uk/ We recently catered a wedding at one of our favourite venues, Enys House https://enysgardens.org.uk/ and another one at the amazing Polhawn Fort https://polhawnfort.com/
We’ve also catered at the incredible and for us very local Porth en alls https://prussiacove.co.uk/
We’ve also catered at a series of village halls – this year and in previous years- some of them are SO lovely- Ponsonooth, Downderry, Pendeen, Gulval.
We’ve also catered many weddings in private homes and holiday hideaways – 2022 has been a terrific season.

Roast Potatoes
Over the last 2 seasons we have been offering more roast potato options. Delicious as they are, roast potatoes take up a massive amount of oven space. This is why we cannot recommend them for weddings of more than 50 people. Even for 50 we need an additional commercial oven to accomodate them so we’d have to ask you to hire in an extra oven – just for the tatties!

If the roasties are an essential part of your wedding feast talk to us about them- they can be accomodated but not without careful planning.
Scary Little Girls @ the Drapery, Redruth
Looking forward to catering what looks like a fantastic event tomorrow Thursday 21 July (6.30 – 9.30pm) at the Drapery. We’ll be serving vegetarian & vegan mezze plates.
