Valentine’s meal delivered to your door for Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 February

(within 10 mile radius from the centre of Goldsithney)

Mezze starter

Baba Ghanoush (flamed aubergine & tahini), Muhammara (roasted red pepper & walnut) & Roasted cinnamon butternut squash with yoghurt (optional) served with homemade flatbread

Choice of Main dishes

Chicken thighs marinated with garlic, cinnamon, lemon slices, sumac & za’atar, roasted topped with fresh parsley & toasted pine nuts

Moroccan filo fish pie – white fish, prawns & squid pieces cooked with paprika, cinnamon & other spices, rice vermicelli, preserved lemon & fresh parsley in filo pastry

Stuffed aubergine – with chopped walnuts, spices, chilli, tomatoes, pomegranate molasses & fresh parsley

Served with roasted potatoes with confit garlic & rosemary and a winter slaw of julienne carrot, beetroot & celeriac with a sharp dressing & fresh herbs

Lemon posset with fennel shortbread

Turkish mocha pot – intense dark chocolate & coffee infused with cardamom topped with caramelised citrus fruit

£30 a head plus £5 delivery

A fabulous local wedding

 

Porth an Alls at Prussia Cove is a wonderful wedding venue and particularly good for Lafafa Catering as its just minutes from home.

Middle Eastern mess and lemon posset are proving to be firm favourites at 2019 weddings. We had lots of happy guests at yesterdays fabulous wedding at Porth-an-Alls.

Over the winter we have been experimenting with icecreams and sorbets.

Pomegranate and blood orange sorbet and cardamom icecream with quince are 2 of our favourites. Both great for smaller numbers as we still havent worked out the logistics of serving  frozen dishes on a larger scale.
