We bought the trailer back in 2008 – its been with Lafafa Catering since we began – its been home from home out on the festival circuit, it was there at our first wedding we catered and it served us loyally through lockdown. Sadly it is structurally unsound and so we cannot take it out on the road.

We’ll still be there at our favourite local events in our white gazebo (with Lafafa branding) so look out for us and check our facebook page for outings like Golowan this next weekend. Saturday 25 June at Green Market Car Park and Sunday outside the Meadery.

Saturday 1 May at the Portreath Arms

Lafafa Catering will be The Portreath Arms with their colourful trailer and delicious food on Saturday 1 May 2021.

Honeyed sweet potato with chickpeas and spinach cooked with tomatoes, cumin and coriander. Served with couscous & fresh coriander & a yoghurt dressing (optional)

Slow cooked chicken with onions, garlic, saffron & ginger with waxy potatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, preserved lemon served with fresh parsley & coriander (optional), yoghurt & couscous

Moving into the second Lockdown

Friday evenings outside St Piran’s Hall, Goldsithney (TR20 9LF) 5 -8 pm will be continuing throughout lockdown until Christmas and beyond.

We’ll have our delicious signature falafel filled pitta and either chicken and/or lamb pitta, hot dishes of the day (always a vege option and usually a meat option) and a pudding (with a Middle Eastern twist).

Thank you to our regulars at Marazion

Lafafa Catering will NOT be at Marazion Community Centre on Saturday 26 September. We are catering at Enys House at an antiques fair (https://www.facebook.com/Enys-House-Antiques-and-Decorative-Fair-104098414298154).

As we move into October we have decided to stop Saturday catering at Marazion – now the tourists are leaving, numbers have fallen off and we have more and more food waste.

We’d like to thank all those loyal regulars that have kept coming (and kept us going) over the summer – it’s been great. We will still be offering food at St Pirans Hall, Goldsithney on a Friday evening 5 -8pm – we hope that some of you will venture over to join us there – we’ll keep posting a menu so you can come over for your favourite dishes. We will carry on in Goldsithney whilst there is demand and we are pleased that we still get new customers who have only just heard about us.

As new restrictions have come in its hard to see how things will develop over the winter. We will continue to update what we can offer.  Lafafa Catering is happy to cater for parties, dinner parties and events  locally – if you have a special occasion to celebrate we can come with the trailer or we can deliver food that can be reheated – call us on 07530070417 or email us to discuss.
