We have a wealth of experience that we will share with you to help make sure your special day run smoothly.
Lindsay and Annie of Lafafa catering are an absolute joy to deal with. From the first few emails it was clear that Lafafa would be perfect. They helped us choose a selection of dishes, and we came away from a delicious tasting session with absolute confidence that our wedding breakfast would be fantastic. Lindsay met us at the venue in advance of the reception to discuss logistics and she offered loads of helpful suggestions to make the day run smoothly and to maximise our budget. The meal that Lafafa prepared for us and our 80 guests was exceptional.

the wedding season 2023 is well underway…

Sharing some photos from our first few weddings – we’ve had such lovely couples, fab locationsandsome great feedback.
Roast Potatoes
Over the last 2 seasons we have been offering more roast potato options. Delicious as they are, roast potatoes take up a massive amount of oven space. This is why we cannot recommend them for weddings of more than 50 people. Even for 50 we need an additional commercial oven to accomodate them so we’d have to ask you to hire in an extra oven – just for the tatties!

If the roasties are an essential part of your wedding feast talk to us about them- they can be accomodated but not without careful planning.
A recent wedding

We’re getting back into the wedding vibe again – its so lovely to get such lovely feedback.
‘Thank you so so much for the amazing food on the day! We honestly had so many people say how delicious the food was and compliments to the chef. So again, thank you, it all added to make it such a special and incredible day for us.’

Weddings are live and happening again
After a year of either no weddings or tiny weddings we have started catering the sizes of weddings we have always been used to.
This is Jess and Duncan’s wedding in Shepton Mallet. Held in an old barn – look how beautiful you can make a venue with a little time and imagination.

Edible Flowers
We want your wedding feast to not only taste fantastic but to look amazing too. We grow our own flowers to decorate our dishes.
We’ll always check with you to see what your colour scheme is and try and find flowers to match (season permitting).

Reflecting on some of this year’s weddings – one
A fabulous local wedding
Porth an Alls at Prussia Cove is a wonderful wedding venue and particularly good for Lafafa Catering as its just minutes from home.
Middle Eastern mess and lemon posset are proving to be firm favourites at 2019 weddings. We had lots of happy guests at yesterdays fabulous wedding at Porth-an-Alls.
